Earth Day
After reading this article, explain in your own words, what Earth Day is. If you could plan an Earth Day celebration for your school, what type of activities would take place? What can you do to make your environment a better place to live? Explain in detail.

Earth Day is something we have to do something each year. Like we must save on energy, so that we wont have to waste so much of that each day. By used light bulbs that help the world environment more a better place. When my mom and go out to the library to help keep power on so we unplug all the plugs around the house , then when 4 to 5 hours have past we plug all the plugs back. But when the second day came unplug about a day or so.
Then my sister is recycling paper in fire so that tree wont have get cut down ever single day.And so each day she saving the world.
So my school should do is unplug the power and turn of the light for 5 hours and burn fire so that trees wont get burn down.

Earth Day is a day were people go out and pick up trash and respect the earth.We could respect the environment and don’t throw trash on the ground.If you see some on the ground you could pick it up.You are respecting mother earth when you do that. If I could plan an earth day for my school I would have lots of activities like, who could find the most trash, draw a picture of mother earth, and we can plant a tree or two so our breathing can be better. To make the environment better I can pick up trash when I see some on the ground.Me myself can not throw things on the floor. If people keep polluting the earth then we probably won’t be ale to drink clean water or breathe clean air.

One way you can plan a way to celebrate Earth day is take your school outside and plant flowers and plants and all type of pretty plants.Another way you can do it is by going out cleaning up the block so it wont look so bad.You can do games that have to do with Earth such as you can cut off all you lights so you can save energy for Earth hour its something we do at home. If I could go out and do fun games we would have a ball. Another way you can do something with your school for Earth day is you can recycle cans and every plastic items. You can save light and energy.

To me, Earth day is a day where you give earth a break from littering and more insensitive things that we do to earth. On this day I think that people in a community should get in a group and think of good activities. Instead of doing drive-by and shooting and being in gangs. It would be nice if my community did those things and playing fun games together.
If I could plan a Earth day celebration for my school, the activities that would take place are Going Green Scene It, Monopoly, The game of life, two truths and one lie and more.
In my opinion, if I could make my environment place to live I could pick up the trash with my cousins because their are a lot of empty lots by our house and people just throw trash everywhere and I would do more. Earth is awesome and we need to take care of it.

We will first go on a trip to science industries museum. We will spend at least to 2 hours at the museum . I will then go to the Brooklyn zoo around 12:00am we will be leaving .
For lunch I would bring in a chief`s they would make your creations of a salad what ever you will dozier . While we are eating we will be watching a science earth movie, like 15 minutes. The garbage men will come in , and tell you about what they do how where do they put it ,and how they treat the earth ,and recycling.
Next we will go through the whole block picking up trash , ans recycling .
Then we will start planting every were around the building.
Next I would give every body a puzzle sheet , and coloring sheet.
Like at the end of the day every one will go to there room , and some people who have pets will show off there pets. Then we will say what we learn , and the day would be over.

PS………. Every one would have to were green from head to toe / you can have jewelry , and little nickles, rings, ear rings, lip gloss, bracelets on there arms.
